My wife and I had an incredible stay at Mitsuki. The value for the money was excellent and the room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, with easy access to the subway and bus stations. Yoko, the owner, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The breakfast selection could have been more diverse.

I was truly impressed by the warm hospitality and exceptional service provided by the staff during my stay at Mitsuki Kyoto. The children working there were so polite, attentive, and respectful, making me feel like a valued guest. The hotel's decoration and general areas were tastefully done, with a touch of traditional Japanese charm that I found delightful. As a senior woman, I particularly appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The staff assisted me with any mobility concerns I had, ensuring that I could move around comfortably and safely. It made my vacation so much more enjoyable.
Given the exceptional level of service and comfort provided, I can hardly think of anything that could have made my vacation even better. The only thing I would ask for is perhaps a wider variety of activities specifically tailored for senior guests.

The ensuite private room in sukiya style was absolutely stunning! The craftsmanship and attention to detail by the Kyoto craft men was evident in every corner. We felt like we were staying in a traditional Japanese masterpiece. As a nature lover, I was in awe of the use of natural materials throughout the room. It truly added to the serene atmosphere, making our stay even more enjoyable.
Personally, I found the deep soaking bathtub a bit too small for my liking. However, I understand that this is a subjective preference and others might still find it perfectly adequate.
